Beerwolf Books

There are many great combinations. My own favourites include Simon and Garfunkel, the Owl and the Pussycat, peanut butter and strawberry jam. However not until recently have I discovered beer and books! In a the slightly wonky, wooden freehouse situated in Falmouth, is Beerwolf Books. Both a bar and a bookshop – and a total bargain!

In this hidden attic of beautifully ageing odds and ends, you can find herbal tea for £1, coffee for under £2 and (almost all) books for under £5. I have to admit I am becoming quite the regular. Open from 10am till midnight it’s perfect for quiet dissertation days as well as chilled drinks with friends in the evening. Not only this but they’re soon to be hosting creative writing workshops in conjunction with the University of Exeter. There really is no where else – at least to my knowledge – quite like it. Seriously why are there not more beer selling bookshops in the world?

I know, the décor really reminds me of Amelia – which is probs my all-time favourite film – in fact when I came out there was a busker playing the soundtrack on his accordion!

After seeing these pictures, I've decided that I no longer want to live in America. I'm packing my bags! Haha
