It has been a manic few weeks of essay deadlines, presentations and Christmas parties but finally this term has come to a close! After a crazy night of cocktails and karaoke, I spent today catching up on sleep, laundry and quality time with my partner. Today is also the day I began the glorious task of Christmas shopping. Luckily for me Falmouth’s Vintage Warehouse 13 was hosting a special late night Christmas Market this evening!
Somewhat out of the way of the high street I’d never really visited before – only noticing it on my cycle rides home from university. Yet beneath the fairy lights and fake frost, local artists and thrift retailers filled the warehouse and transformed it into a beautiful grotto of festivity and merriment. There was live music, amazing artisan treats and even mulled wine served in jam jars. Next term I will definitely be going back in the daytime and I totally recommend you check it out too!
